You might be able to get a bump on the mantle to 4.5. Although PSA is stingy as he'll with half grade especially on pricey stuff.

I agree about the holders. I guess I'd be afraid of losing on the crossover. Anything I submit from here on out will be SGC, Mantle included.

Yes, they are. I would go with SGC. I will never submit to PSA again. I am not opposed to buying cards that are in a PSA slab, provided they possess the qualities I am looking for.

It is refreshing to be around folks who realize a card can be nice and solid without being an "8". Don't get me wrong, who wouldn't like to have a collection of them? I know of collectors who have a lot more $$ than I ever will who won't even look at a card that is EX 5. I will never have the $$ to do that. I really enjoy what I am able to get. I like looking at the stuff you guys put up. I have seen some really nice stuff from you.

Hey, no problem. Thanks for looking at them. I am glad that I found this board. Other than a friend I see about an hour a week, I have no one else to talk cards with.

Wow thanks for all the 53's pics, what a great set you have there, awesome cards!!!! First thats an amazing Mantle, love the centering and I really think that will cross to SGC and I also think its bump worthy, looks like a 60 to me! To be honest it looks stronger than your Feller that got a 5. Love your Mathews too sharp card.

I absolutely agree with SMtjoy,

That Mantle is far more appealing to me than the feller in the 5 holder. Great cards man!
Yes, I also agree they would present better in the SGC holder as well.

Good luck with your collection and hope to see more of it.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I am definitely thinking about some crossover action in the future...at least with the Mantle. The worst that can happen is that SGC gives it a 4 too. Either way, I love the card and set!
