I don't have one, doubt that I ever will have one. Way out of my league, at my age. So I just have to be happy with my 57 and going forward from there. Don't see much reason to go beyond 65. So, I'll keep what I have between 57 and 65 and be happy with it all.
Jim I held one once. Gosh it was a beauty. Some guys would trade their entire collection for one but for some reason i couldn't part with my 58 set just for that one card, even though it is considered quite possibly the most coveted card in the hobby. Other than the Wagner i guess.

Rob,
I'm the same way, I could sell all I had and get a decent 52, I wouldnt enjoy it nowhere near the way I enjoy what I have now though! I've thought about it before though lol!

I still like this card,only thing is the 0 feedback.Is there any thing that would tell u that this is not a real 52 Mantle ? Somebody talk me out of this card.Item #07059799 He sent me 5 more scans that i have in my email.

i stay away.. he is not selling anything else ....All i can say do your homework..Track down PSA and check the id # on it maybe. I usually dont buy from people below 100, and well a 0 is a sign to pass it by.
