He's a great ball player and NOT getting in the Yankee top five means nothing lol I mean not many could. I think ford is sixth he was the Yankee ace for an amazing 14 year run. To me jeter comes in at seventh because he's never carried a Yankee club by hisself.

I'd agree on Rivera if only because he was so important to those teams. What bugse about him is he was a bomb as a starter which means you see him two three times a game he's meat!! I'd never argue that he's the best 'closer' ever but just about all of them are failed starters. For instance I'd take eck and smoltz over Rivera any day. They both did both on an elite level.... Yes eck won 20 once upon a time.
