Ok, fellas, help me with this hypothetical situation. You are building a 53 Topps set. You have 2 choices of the same card. Card A is a bit soft on the corners and centered fairly well with minimal chipping on the bottom red border. Maybe a slight loss of gloss. Card B has four pretty Sharp corners with minimal wear. The centering isn't as good as Card A's...it is off a little top to bottom....maybe 75/25 or 70/30. Card B has really nice gloss and virtually no chipping on the bottom red border. The only real issue with this card is a small bend in the upper right hand corner that does not go through to the back.

Which one do you choose?

I not as big on centering as some of the men on here but do like the cards presentation and the second card would probably fit to my liking better. This is especially true with there being little to no chipping quite possibly telling me the card wasn't handled that much. Also with the strong corners its just seems to look good in the holder. Just my opinion for what its worth brother.

I might add that the bend I detect in Card B is hard to detect. I have to be holding the card at a certain angle to see it. I cannot feel it when I run my finger over it.

The little black dots on top of Card B is dust. You can't see the little bend in the white border in the upper right. Now what do you think?

Looks like a bend on the top of card a in the center edge. I'm going card b. Based on the scans.

I really appreciate the input. You guys know how it is to keep looking and second guessing yourself. I just need other sets of eyes....I also need to make up my mind the qualities of a card that are priority to me.

Yep, I guess that is why I am questioning so. One day, I will send in one of these for grading...just want to pick the right one.

Tough call here and without having them in hand its hard to tell. While I do like the centering of card A, I could likely live with card B and the wider top border. Again without having them in hand its hard to tell.
