So far I have two that are SGC 96. I got one SGC 92, which I bought on Ebay. The listing picture was tiny and fuzzy, so I could not tell how the centering was until I had it in hand. I will be re-baying that one. However, it was the picture on this card that I liked so much I chose to do the set.

I currently only have 12 of the cards and have been adding 1-3 for the last couple years.
To me its a fun way to focus on my favorite players and try to get one special card of each.

I have been waffling and wavering about what to do post '53 Topps Baseball. I had always planned to work my way through all the 1950s sets, but got distracted with thoughts of Bowman, especially '50 Bowman baseball, which is nice. I think I have regained my focus and will stick with '54 Topps and do a little tweaking and upgrading in my '53 set. When we talk about our goals this time next year, I expect to be still working on the same stuff just further down the road. I will be collecting in the 5-6.5 range with graded stars and mostly raw commons. That's pretty much how I did the '53 set. There's just something about 1950s Topps baseball cards!!
Ending 2012 on a high note, by adding 3 more Mantles.
