I don't know if there ever has been a year no one was voted in, but if there hasn't this would be a good year to start. IMHO. I mean really, isn't the HOF diluted enough already?

Trex, with all do respect, do you think the fact you haven't followed sports since 1990 that you're in any position to know whether most on that list are deserving or not?

By no means am I saying you don't have the right to give your humble opinion, I'm just wondering how you can come to that opinion. $\:\)$

With all due respect back:

1) I never said I hadn't followed sports since 1990. What I said was I hadn't ACTIVELY followed PRO sports since after the baseball strike in 1994.

2) I have no vote on who goes in and who doesn't, so my OPINION doesn't make any difference one way or the other.

3) My opinion, is just that, an OPINION. I'm not trying to persuade anyone to agree or disagree, I could care less, about who gets in or who doesn't or whether anyone agrees or disagrees.

4) Since it is an OPINION, and I'm not trying to persuade anyone one way or the other, I can see no need in justifying an OPINION. $\:\)$

Surprised on Biggio. Has any other 3,000 hit player (excluding Palmerio) not been voted in on the first ballot? I never, ever heard his name associated with PED's, so don't think that took away from the vote. Guy was so versatile, catcher, 2nd base, outfield.

Piazza normally would be a 1st balloter, but I think PED suspicion bit him. Was he on the list of 100+ players that tested positive?

Yeah, me too. I guess they wanted to send a strong message. Unfortunatley, some whose name were never associated have to pay the price. I think they'll eventually all get it, but it may be many years.
