Surprised on Biggio. Has any other 3,000 hit player (excluding Palmerio) not been voted in on the first ballot? I never, ever heard his name associated with PED's, so don't think that took away from the vote. Guy was so versatile, catcher, 2nd base, outfield.

Piazza normally would be a 1st balloter, but I think PED suspicion bit him. Was he on the list of 100+ players that tested positive?

Yeah, me too. I guess they wanted to send a strong message. Unfortunatley, some whose name were never associated have to pay the price. I think they'll eventually all get it, but it may be many years.
