15-10 Good game IMO.
I beleive in the refs letting them play, but a couple of the no calls have been kind of ridiculous.

Lights are still on, but is anyone at home? Dandy Don Meredith and the Fat Lady are warming up the vocal chords while it's still in the 3rd quarter. What an epic beatdown. Pretenders exposed, first by the Baptists from Waco, now by a bunch of Mallards at a track meet.
Speed kills, especially if you're used to riding a tractor on a wheat farm.

Still 5 minutes left in the 3rd quarter, but it's over. K-State isn't designed to play from behind. They can't keep up with a fast tempo game. That's how Baylor beat them.

Now we can focus on some real college football, tonight and Monday, when the class of the SEC play. For the record, I don't like Bob Stoops, but I hope Johnny Manziel gets his clock cleaned. Either way, it's another big year for the SEC. Again and again and again and again and again and again and again.

Another over-rated Big 12 team falls, and falls hard to Mr. Football. Downside is the country has to put up with all the Texas A&M "whoop" for a while.
SEC teams have won the last five Cotton Bowls, all against Big 12 teams, and nine out of 10. That included Texas A&M's loss to LSU only two years ago. SEC continues to prove they have the strongest football conference in the land.
All that's left is to see if the Irish can complete their resurrection to the college football apex by overcoming defending national champion, the Alabama Crimson Tide.

SEC racks up another bowl victory as Ole Miss mauls Pitt. Except for LSU and Florida who both had little to prove and play for in the post season, only Mississippi State was outmanned during the bowls. Not bad when you send 9 teams to the post season.
The only one left that matters comes in less than 48 hours. Do you hear the herd coming? It's the sound of 22 Crimson Tide elephants stampeding into Miami. The way to beat Bama during the Saban era is to jump on them quickly (Utah a couple years ago, A&M this year). If Notre Dame doesn't rack up a couple of quick scores and match Alabama in a smash-mouth affair, I might get to go to bed early on Monday.

If Bama loses will it also be because they have nothing further to prove or would this SEC loss be legitimate?

Oh, Alabama has plenty to prove and Saban wants this game in a big, big way. First of all, Alabama (fans, players, alumni, entire state) dislike Notre Dame and want to pummel them into submission. Secondly, Saban's legacy rests on the outcome of this game. Not even The Bear won 3 championships in 4 years (he did win 3 in 6 years from 1961-1966), back when everybody and his mother handed out "championships." Thirdly, if Notre Dame wins, they will have climbed back on top, but it remains to be seen if they can stay there. Face it, ND has disappointed their fans for over 20 years and for many years recently have just plain sucked at football.
This is a watershed game for both schools and both have plenty to play for. Unfortunately, many games with this level of hype rarely live up to expectations. We'll find out if this one does in about a day and a half.
It's a classic "irresistable force" (Bama's O-Line and running game) vs. an "immoveable object" (Irish defense, which is credible). If Alabama had the Bama defense from last year, there would be no reason to play the game because ND's putrid offense couldn't cross the 50-yard line either (cf. LSU).
