I think you made a wise investment choice. Tell her it could have been worse. You could have invested in '88 Donruss

Lol...I did that too.

Told her this is a REALLY long term investment. Every time there's a disagreement, the 88 Donruss, among others come up.

Hey now, 88 Donruss ain't that bad. They make darn good door stops.

Blackie, yup those 50s Topps are where my passion lies. I figure I will be in '54 for quite a while. I dabbled in Bowman a while, and while they are great, Topps in the 50s is where it is for me.

Subs just canme back.. I got an 80 on the Rolfe, 80 on the Coan and a 70???? on the Semiick. Dont understand that grade at all.

I think you should go for it, Rob. It's an undervalued set IMO.

Picked these up today...
I could not buy these and grade them, for what i paid for them:

Still Mantles, but some very odd-ball ones i never seen.

1979/80 United Press Int Record 'Disc'
2nd Highest Example (Best grade 88)


1989 Perez-Steele #28 ---BUT I CANT FIND IT IN POP REPORT HERE- NOT LISTED



1984 RGI Galasso #20
Highest Example


1982 Big League Coll. Diamond Classics
1 of 2 Highest Examples



Working on a couple more, but dont want to jinx myself before the deal is done.
And 1 of them is a close to being a tuna being marked off.
