I'm looking for a card in ex- exmt condition in the price range noted.... It doesn't have to be graded. I collect mostly hall if famers.... I have started to put together the 38 goudey set and have about 25 percent of the set( only 48 in the set) and I collect the 56 topps set and have about 50 percent of that set but I like to get different cards a lot and recently got interested in the leaf set and the playball sets... Anyone have a suggestion... I saw a 38 lombardi in vg/ ex condition I liked and a 53 topps feller ( collect feller) in ex/mt but the feller was slightly out if my range and might email the seller... Let me know ideas... Like I said I like different

Put an offer in on a 1969 Reggie Jackson topps RC... Not prewar and not unusual, but I don't have one... It's in exmt plus condition..

Slap, Slap Slap Stay focus. Just like a stray dog. Just like a kid in a candy store. Try and move forward with what you started already.
Otherwise, you be like me before i came here. I collected almost anything and had to stop and focus on 1 thing. Your wife will appreciate more.

Like the gehringer a lot but before I saw your response I had already changed course. @ KRB, haha... I withdrew my offer and put in an offer on a 56 topps koufax that I need for my set and its in exmt condition... Better?
Oh vintage... How would I pay you for the gehringer if the other fell through?
And bbo I actually have that card... Nice
I was looking for a jimmie foxx card since I don't have any, but the ones I saw I felt were over priced...

The '56 Koufax is a nice 2nd year card of a great HOFer. Show us a scan if you get it.
If for some reason it falls through and you want the Gehringer, just let me know and PayPal (or check) would be fine.

Stick with your focus Scott, I do believe it will make you happier down the road. Cant go wrong with a 56 Koufax and thats from a pre ww2 collector.
Very solid Gehringer too.

Thank you... Still have a ways to go ( about half done) but a lot of what I need are commons, minor stars and team cards... Got a lot of the stars, but might end up upgrading on some of them...

Two real nice examples of a great set.
I afraid between you and David showing your 1956 cards, I'm going to have another preoccupation.
