Yes Dave I also like and collect 54 Bowman. Right now I'm only going after the Hall of Famer's in ex/mt or better condition.
That Bob Lemon card you have is a beaut. They're all nice but I haven't found a 54 Lemon in that grade and presents that well for a fair price.
Actually, that's not completely true. A few months back there was one on ebay that was ending about 11:00 my time and I fell asleep before I could bid. It ended up selling for much less than I would have spend.
Hate when that happens

I love that set. But it doesn't seem collectors do. Once I finish my current pursuits, that may be the first 1950's set I try yo complete.
Imagine if it had Aaron, Kaline, and Banks. What could have been.

It is one of my favorite sets and one that I am working on completing w/ strictly high grade cards. My main collecting focus is 1949 - 1955 Bowmans in SGC 88 and higher. Glad to see other collectors are interested in the set.

Here's my '54 Bowman, not a huge fan of this set as I prefer the 53 color or '55 Bowman...but to each his own:
I got a 53 Bowman Color (Mantle) and just picked up the 52 Bowman.......
...This is one card I do not have, since i concentrated on topps cards first

Pat, nice card. That Mantle looks more like a 6 or 6.5. I like the '53 Bowmans too (probably my favorite Bowman set), but dislike the '55s for their inconsistency in design - the same reason I dislike '68 Topps.
