Well I rolled the dice on some 78 Vending boxes trying for a Keeper Tony Dorsett Rookie.

While I did pull one from each box they were less than stellar on the centering.

Even So I did pull some keepers for my set and assembled the set here from some of the other vending cards.

Centering is typical for the 78 set. A hint on a few corners as is common with vending cards.

Pretty nice Stallworth Rookie and a decent Roger Staubach. I think the set is overall EXMT-NM, a few better a few worst.
The Jack Lambert is pretty nice as well.

Nice vending color with NO; creases or Stains.
I will include the original Empty Vending box if You would like it as well.

John,Those vending boxes are really risky. I heard they can have really good centering or all over the place through out the box. I just finished updating my 78 set only need a few team cards. Let me know if you have any extra team cards?

Hi Scott

Yes, the vending boxes can vary on the centering, but probably no more than wax or any other product. Risky? Doing Meth is risky, drunk driving is risky, These are Football cards that I enjoy, so I see no risk in them at all, just fun.

What Team cards do you need I can check what I have.

Experienced collectors are well aware of the centering issues with pretty much all seventies topps card issues.

I think that you are well aware of the centering issues with any seventies Topps cards as well.

I want to be wrong, but I can't help but think your post had another motive and that sure would be ashame.

Hi David

I do a lot of experimenting with different ways to display my cards. I enjoy finding new scanning techniques. Yes the text was added using photoshop. I think it turned out pretty nice.
