Hi Rob,
As you probably already know, the wife and I (and even the kids now) are members of the Kiss Army.
Once the wife and I even flew to Virginia Beach just for the Kiss Show! It was freakin AWESOME!
A few years back whe went to show in Chicago. Kiss and Areosmith. Now Im an Areosmith fan as well, but there ain't NO WAY they can follow Kiss.
I mean like really... After the Demonic Kiss stage show, Did anyone even care that there was second act.? I don't even remember the Areosmith set. Why they were the headliners I'll never know, but I think areosmith found out the hardway the was no way they were going to follow that Kiss show. Big Mistake.
BTW, cool flashing Kiss logo, where do you find these little gems?
Take Care John
Not long after I graduated from college, the first comeback with the original band with makeup tour was set. Missed the opening at Tiger Stadium, but was not going to miss the tour. A buddy of mine from college was also a huge fan. He was from WI, so we were set for tickets to the Bradley Center. The concert was on a Saturday. On Monday of that week my boss said I had to fly to Bahrain on Friday for several months to support a project. I said sorry, I can not do it until Monday for personal reasons. He was around 70 years old and wanted to know the reason. I thought honesty was the best answer, so I told him about being fans, going with a fraternity brother, the band is back together, its with makeup etc. He was not amused and made me go. He did reimburse me on the ticket.

Yeah, look what that got me. Now that you mention it, I can see why people consign their cards to people that don't strongly deter people from bidding on their own auctions:)

Im actually looking into consigning my massive Nascar collection, so i can make ways for my Mantle collection. I never done it before. Thinking of starting by 1-2 tems and see how it goes. I dont know where be a good place, since Ebay is just gone to crap with its fees. And auction house want a around 20% premimum. Its more of knowing there be a lot of people wanting to bid on it and look.
BTW, that KISS pics really scares the himmie-jimmies out of me seeing a grown man with make-up like that.

You should have told em ya quit! I know I know. That's not always possible.
On that note, When we were young? And our hearts were an open book?........ Oh wait thats something else.
My wife once quite her job at the Dairy Queen and we headed down the road to "Farm Aid"
You crazy Kids!
John
Funny. Even when young, I guess I just lacked cojones. Now, if that was a Led Zeppelin reunion, my set may have dropped:) Live and let live.
BTW - Great memory maker story on the DQ for Farm Aid swap! Well worth it in the scheme of things. Did you get to see Freddy Mercury?

Disregard the Freddy request. He played Live Aid, not Farm Aid. When you get older, your memory isn't quit as sharp.

Pontiac Silver Dome April 30, 1977 where Zeppelin played to the largest audience in rock history of more than 77,000 (may have since been surpassed but not sure)
To this day - there has been nothing that equals that experience. I think tickets were $10 which was a load at the time.

Woodstock!! I saw Live Aid at JFK Stadium in Phila,I know that was over 100,000. I saw Kiss in 1976 with AC/DC opened up but I had no clue who they were at that time.
