You may be right guys......I miss the corners alot. Card just looks solid to me and is plum beautiful in my opinion. Hope he can get a 92 on it and at least an 88 or so.

Elway is an 88. Mark it down. Rock solid. No brainer.

I got an 88 on an Elway I got out of a pack back in 1988.
Your card looks nicer than mine (mine was nice too). I would
not be surprised if yours got a 92. Not sure if it will grade
96 as I don't know the nuances of that card. Good luck!

Great looking Elway, but I believe bbo nailed it. Corners are nice, but that little bump on the lower right edge leaves it at an 88. Without the bump, it's a 92. Very nice pull, regardless!

More Great looking cards Rob!

You covered like over a 100 year span there with those cards? You sir, have a serious card collecting sickness.

In light of seeing all those killer 86 Fleer Basketball cards of yours, I decided to start my own Basketball card set.

While I am primarily a Football card guy, as kids we had all of the big 3 Sports cards at one time or another through out the seventies.

Played alot of Nerf Basketball back in those days and it was Always "Stormin Norman Van Lier", Chet "The Jet" Walker, Bob Love "From the Corner"!
And of coarse DR. J

All the Magic of the game is now lost since those childhood days of the seventies. The characters, and cool nick-names are all but gone.

Earl "The Pearl"
"Pistol Pete"
"The Big Red Head"
Wilt "the Stilt"
"clyde"
"ice Man"
"All World Free"
"Hondo"
"Tiny"

Ive had cards from most all of the seventies sets at sometime in my youth, but the one set that I choose to do, was the one I distinctly remember collecting as a boy...

So the set I choose to do is..... Wait a minute is that the phone ringing?

Ok, As I was sayin, I distinctly Remember Pulling from these packs as a kid, Dr.J, Jabbar, Bill Walton and my all-time Favorite "STORMIN Norman Van Lier! as well as many of the other Stars of the day. Im really excited about building the set and the memories they bring back!

Oh Yeah..... The set I chose to do......

"What's that Honey!? , Suppers ready!?..... Ok I'll be right back.......

I'm guessing 1979 Topps. That was the only basketball
set I ever put together and I think those names are there.
