Hey Tony! I think it just means that your "bumping" up a post to bring it back to the top of the thread. It brings more visibility to a post that may be a few days or weeks old and lets folks re-visit it again. Hope this helps brother.

Oh before i forget it can also mean a bump in grade but depends on the context used I guess. I hear it alot in forums that a card recived a bump with could mean an SGC 80 to an SGC 82 or PSA 7 to a PSA 7.5. Can be either way but I see it alot where folks respond on there posts to bump or move up a thread. Especially in the b/s/t sections of most boards.

All it's used for is to move a message to the top. Any word will work, it's just most choose to use "bump."

You could type in cammb, and it would do the same thing, or have the same effect....well, maybe not the same effect. lol.
