I do know that they review the cards right before slabbing and the grades can and do change. Its one of the reasons I don't like to see results till they are in hand as its just disappointing.

In any case call and see what they say but sounds to me like they found a defect/crease on its review.

Thanks Scott, I called Bill yesterday and he left a note with Michael. I also left an email and voicemail. I just found it odd that the online tracking invoice didn't change till yesterday and was still showing an SGC 82...that is until i said something. I put alot of faith in SGC so they will make good im sure. The card was a PSA 7 and a pretty solid card but can't see it as a SGC 60 in comparison with other 60's I have on hand.

C'mon now. You can't say never buy a PSA holder for crossover. Get it and crack it, in most cases, depending on the circumstance. IMHO.

This one was cracked out of a PSA 7.

PSA is notorious for slabbing sub-standard cards. So, if you submit one to cross without at least giving it a cursory examination, you reap what you sow. This after trial and error myself. Board member "BigRedOne" has said time and time again, buy the card not the holder. Wise words indeed.

Thats an amazing card Jim. I didn't crack out the Foiles which i prolly should have done but oh well........live and learn right. Anyway I have had several 1958 Topps in PSA 7 cross to SGC 84's and some 82's but never higher.

With the luck you had on that card crossing from a PSA 7 to a SGC 92 ....you should have found the closest Casino and used that luck. You could have hit the jackpot brother...lol

Seriously thats one nice card and yes I should have not "generalized" my statement. I stand corrected my brother.

two more recent pickups.

The set is rounding off well and I was able to help my buddy Dan out with an SGC 84 #10 card to add to his amazing set. Been a little tough finding a good Harshman card. I looked through my raws and didn't have one at all so was very pleased to get this card for my set.
