I guess Manning got lucky last night. Don't you wish you had this "over-rated" QB on your team?

Great "Numbers" indeed! Peyton Manning is the greatest REGULAR season QB of all time!

But it still equals 1 regular season win.
(Which may be enough to win the worst division in the NFL)

Might have been a good idea to save some of that luck and "sandbag" TD's for the Playoffs.

Again, with the rule changes so stacked against the defense in todays modern game, 4,000 yd /20-30 Td seasons are not really all that big of a feat any more. Even Carson Palmer and Josh Freeman can do it.

I'll still take Montana and Brady, because I prefer to hold up multiple Title Rings as well as have the great numbers.

Roger Staubach is the Greatest Ive ever seen

GO COWBOYS!

Nice Talkin to ya!

I don't know why anyone would say Manning is over rated. Leaf, Couch, Russell,Harrington ect r over rated, #1 picks or first rounders that don't stay in the league no more then few years and hold back their franchise for years r over rated. I am not a big Payton fan but he is not over rated.

The names you listed do not qualify as "Over rated" Those guys are Utter and complete failures.

"Over rated" is when year in and year out your touted as the "Greatest" and despite having one of the top teams in the league you annually fail to even make it to the "Big Game" and bring home the title. Flashy numbers and being a Media Sweet Heart maybe enough for you guys, but 16 seasons and only one cosmedic title and no other apperances is just lees than memorable to me.

Once Tony Romo gets that first title he will be the "Greatest Ever" LOL WINK

Nice Talkin with ya guys! Go Archie!,,, uh no Eli, or wait? what's the other one? Peyton... thats it. Good Luck on the season. Brady's Patriots appear to be shell of their previous teams, The Ravens and Flaco look to be a one trick pony(as the Broncos and Manning exposed in week one). Really no other compition in the AFC, so maybe it will finally be Peytons year.

GO COWBOYS!

John

Without the great years of Manning the colts don't even make the playoffs. It would have been 2 rings if the colts didn't sit on their lead. That's the coaches fault. If Staubach was playing today, he couldn't hold Mannings jockstrap.

Im all for a lively debate of the facts, but now that you've moved to the world of hypothetical's and "What if's" as well as a silly attempt at character asassignation to divert from the facts.

I think its time to take my football and go home.

John

Or throw a couple of interceptions AND cough up a fumble. Can't say I didn't warn you, what, about a year ago?

Fourteen (14) seconds into it, over.
Game. Set. Match.
Way to lead your team, Manning.
Really had 'em ready to play, Peyton.

"Whoa! What's that brown thing floating by my head on the first snap?"
"Wait, that IS the first snap."

Peyton Manning is a BIG GAME, BIG TIME LOSER.
Some on here seem to have forgotten that itty bitty fact.
