I had these 2 on my "Watch" list on Ebay from 1922 American Caramel (Didnt win either ) because after reading about them, I am of the opinion that both SHOULD be in the Hall of Fame.

I REALLY like to collect those 1921 & 1922 American Caramels of players that were great back then, but nobody talks about them.

The two players were...

Frederick Cy Williams
and
Hienie Groh

Williams was a big time Home Run hitter and Groh was a great hitter for the Reds. I Also really like to collect players involved with the 1919 Black Sox - Reds Series. Groh had a really good series.

Any thoughts or opinions from you guys?

I tried to post pics, but I am too stupid to figure it out. Both were 1922 E120's.
I should have bid higher as both were VG-EX. Groh sold for something like $48 and the Williams sold for something like $54.

I am kicking myself for only pushing $40 @.

Now, I can't find either out there!

Smt, do you have any "E" cards for sale? NOT THOSE PICTURED, I can not afford them. But maybe some commons / Minor Star?
