I saw that on eBay and passed on it due to the upper right corner. I was also afraid that spot above his right eye was a scratch/paper loss that PSA "ignored." But it is a nice card and notwithstanding the possible scratch, a worthy 4. Congratulations.
373, isn't that Jim Turner? Tough card. I had an SGC 20 that displayed like a 50/60. I fell out of love with the grade and replaced it with a PSA 4 that'll have to do for now. What's wrong with your Turner 88?. Why not just cross it, if you want a PSA card.
I just think a guy who has a large amt. of cards to grade has an advantage,as far as getting higher grades,than a person who only has a few to grade.I know that PSA & SGC would deny this but it would only be human nature to lean toward ur larger customer.This Turner I think is a good example not that it isn't a nice card,i just don't think I can get an 8 out of it.
