John,
You are very welcome! Brian never posts on Internet chatboards, but both he and I would like to extend our sincerest thanks to you for your patronage.
As for the 1936 World Wide DiMaggio, we both feel that it holds a very special place in this hobby as Joe's very first major league card. Moreover, when other advanced collectors realize the true scarcity of this issue (even the most seasoned hobby veterans have probably never seen more than a dozen), the value is bound to increase. By our estimates, its scarcity is roughly on par with the 1933 Goudey Napoleon Lajoie.
By the way, welcome to the SGC forums!

Congratulations, John! That is one heck of a nice card you won there! I also placed a bid on that auction, but I knew there was no chance in hell I'd win.
Do you also have the Gehrig from this 1936 WWG set? I heard that it is more harder to find.
