Quote: The 1976 and 1977 are the best designed topps sets of the 70's imo. However, although not an attractive design, the 1973 topps set in SGC is something I've been considering for a while now. The action shots and photography from that set is the best imo (one of the reasons I am considering pursuing this set).
Grillo, good to see you post again. If you are already considering a 73 set, it is a great time to start with the cash prizes ($2,000 for first, $1,000 for second and $500 for third).

Well it has been interesting few days. I manage to buy back about 100 of my SGC 96's for the same price I sold them for ! Thank you Scott and Jay(from the 76 PSA Registry) . I also managed to pick out about 100 nm mt to mint cards from my raw set and bought about 175 nm mt cards from Mike Castaldi, thank you Mike. I also added to my set about 20 SGC 92's that I had laying around . It is possible that I might just have this half way done by Oct. 1st? That leaves me with about 6 months to get the last 330 cards into SGC to claim my prize . I just hope I don't wake a sleeping giant(BLAMBRO)??? Is this gonna be a one time thing or is it going to be yearly ? I have to say I was pretty burned out but this challenge has renewed my interest and it has been a fun couple of weeks! Thanks SGC I can't promise I won't complain about the amount of time it takes to get my cards back

B Not sure yet I have another 60 to send in probably 20 of yours and then another 60 maybe right before the end on September which another 30 are yours. I will let you know how they did. I have been looking at the Yaz 24 7 and It just might 96? If thats the case I would be more than happy with the rest being 88's.A couple of others that you sent me that have been a pain for me to get are the Ramon Hernandez and Doug Radar #44 both look like good shots at 92's?
