just wondering if anybody has any thoughts on this mantle ?
i know it a third rate grading company but even if it is all good and you get a 7 from psa/sgc you might be able to turn a nice profit. i can't afford it but when i do buy a card its for personal reasons and not if i can turn a profit down the road.
if deadly embrace is reading your about me page has been featured across the street and i have to say very nice job.

Oh-oh ...

They're talking about me across the street!!??!!

Thanks for the compliments. Actually, the only time I view threads from across the street is when they are referenced/linked here in this forum. Would you mind posting a link?

Thanks.

DE,

Here you go. The anonymous poster Kobie is infatuated with Sgc. Just look
at his last 5 threads. Four about Sgc and one about a brothel for
sale on ebay. Makes you wonder...

Bouffard,

You beat me. Don't kid yourself. The guy knows what he posts.
He's a determined (but unknown) individual.

aconte,
i am not sure what koby's deal is ? i don't really care about the debating going on about who is better. i know one thing sgc's holders are the nicest looking (labels could use some redesigning) and for my hobby dollars i will stay here. i can't see paying a membership fee to be able to submit cards for grading thats like paying admission to a car dealer?

You know I read a lot of comments regarding SGC holders and in particular, the labels. The holders are designed to protect the cards and the black inserts are to hold the cards snug and to frame them. The label is simply for identification and simplicity in this area is what I believe SGC has achieved. The label does not detract from the beauty of the card it identifies. Lay off the label...

would you leave that card in a PCG holder? Send it in to a more reputable dealer and if you know it is "The Real Deal" then you are going to make more money than selling it as a PCG.

OK....I've answered my own question. It's probably over-graded and the speculator will learn the hard way...that's my bet...
