I think that perhaps some collectors have the misperception that when it comes to chatboards -- much like in grading -- that more is better. I strongly disagree with this simplistic notion. Instead, I would argue that quality and topically interrogative posts where collectors are freely allowed to discuss pressing hobby issues, without constantly being trolled, is the TRUE test of chatboard efficacy.

Sometimes "less" can indeed be more.

MW, I couldn't agree more. The majority of posts on the PSA board are non-sportscard related. The SGC board (and Network 54 board) is the better board to discuss and learn about sportscards and sportcard grading. I'll take the quality over the quantity anyday.
