We were both scooped on the other Board...:). I'll be interested to see who registers a '77 set.
As much as anything, the registry will help build a COMMUNITY of SGC collectors.
I'm heading to New Mexico for a week. Wish me fun, folks!!

I wish you much fun. I'm so curious about how this thing is going to work (the registry).

I will be ready to register my 1964 Topps cards when the registry comes up. I have some being graded right now, but i'll hold off on sending any more until we find out if SGC offers any registry specials. Has anyone heard anything new?

Hi Chuckster --
If you subscribe to SGC's email list, they regularly send out grading specials. I haven't submitted cards in a while ... so I don't know how they compare to regularly posted prices ... but they seem darn reasonable.

deadlyembrace, You are absolutely right about SGC offering some great specials. I have used the 10% off coupon special a couple of times. Maybe they will offer a registry special sort of like what PSA is doing. I'm just going to be patient and see what the registry is like before I send in my next order. I would kick myself if I sent in a big order and found out later that I missed an awesome special!

Glad to hear the SGC registry is ready to go!!!
I've got my 1952 Red Man tobacco set ready to be registered. I have a few holes, but I'm hopeful the other SGC faithfuls will help me fill it out.
