Old, dense-headed hammers are cool. Best nail pounders.

I'm getting a little worried about SGC -- I recently learned that my friends at "On the Hill Cards" (in Kunkletown, PA...littledevildog on eBAY) have stopped using SGC...and have gone to PSA for service! This blows my mind, but I have nothing but the highest levels of respect for this dealer. The fact that SGC did something to chase away a long-time and well respected dealer of their product is mind numbing. Next thing you know, and zubes1156 will be using PSA, as well (I better to and check). Not good.

I will miss them too, but that's they way it goes. Fact is, when I first started building my 1977 SGC set, they were the only sellers of '77 SGC slabs. Now they are 6 or 7. The beat goes on.

Walt just figured that PSA is easier on the grades & easier to sell for higher prices. Of course he opted for PSA. He and I were discussing the fact he was getting 92's on cards he felt were mint. I told him if he wants sliders he'll have to use PSA. He tried 'em and got back 10's on those very same type of cards...voila! A PSA convert. He sells quality regardless of the holder . He has a good eye as well. He still likes SGC and it had NOTHING to do with their being an inferior company. It's just business. I'll bet if the registry takes off and the market returns for SGC, he will too.

I am curious to see how the respective registry sections pan out in the next two years. Any predictions?
