I think they already added five sets unless I missed some. I thought
this morning they started with 126. Now they are at 131. That is a
good jump for one day.

Hi Matthew --

I just tried to check out your '77 set but got the following message:

No users have registered sets in this Set Definition at this time.

Are you sure your entries were saved?

DE > I think I'm good. When I go and check my set, it is currently marked "Not Yet Published" pending 'administrator approval". So I am in the qeue, or is it queu?

I like the card weightings, but I would also like to see weighting accounting for condition sensitive cards once a valid sampling of a card has been graded.

I just got through registering and decided to place one Red Man tobacco card in a 1952 set (along with a photo) to see how easy it was to input the information.

I agree, the registration asked for more info than was necessary, but by going into "People Search" (Yahoo) you can get the same info. No big deal.

And I also agree with the other posts, that it is too bad that there aren't more sets included initially than there should be. But, those are my only negative feedbacks.

I very much liked the homepage format and that the graphics are large enough where you don't have to squint to read things.

I was pleased there was an opportunity to input optional comments about my set as well as a place to express my desire to ugrade cards, either through direct purchase or trade. I hope the registry encourages trading, becasue that was a lot of fun when I was a kid!

As far as inputting the card and the photo, I had no problems at all and everything was very straight forward. The best part of the registry, in my opinion, is how nice and large the photos turn out when you upload them into the registry. If you click on the camera under the specific card where a picture exists, you get a 6.75" (wide) by 10.5" (long) picture of the card. This is a very nice way for other people to enjoy some really quality cards and may be the only chance we get to see the "best of the best". I would encourage more people to upload pictures of their cards.

This card was a "test" of the SGC Registry, and all I can say is CONGRATULATIONS - JOB WELL DONE!! The wait was definitely worth it.

They say it takes 72 hours to get our input approved, so I look forward to seeing how this process works over the next couple of days. All in all, I am very pleased and will soon have my entire 1952 Red Man set registered.

Congratulations to the owners of the first two sets to be registered. Both are impressive complete sets, and both are football.

Big thumbs up ... !!
