If SGC were to change one thing (but only one thing) and you got to choose what it was, what would it be?

Adding the half points to the grading scale for grades Good, VG, VGEX, and EXMT. This was not a factor until recently when I have started to sell all lower graded cards.

I'd do whatever it takes to capitalize on the current unrest among the "PSA faithful" and apparent weakness among PSA's executive management to encourage converts to the SGC ranks.
1. Cut-rate crossover specials for large collections ... converted en masse, 2. A re-run of the 2003 crossover specials (wasn't it $5 per card?), 3. Aggressive recruiting of large volume dealers (who knows, maybe this is already happening ...), 4. Promotional campaigns comparing/contrasting the two companies' products (this would be the "in your face approach" ...), 5. whatever it takes.
The goal would be to increase market share (a measure of current grading activity) and increase the quantity of desireable, quality cards in SGC slabs.
If cards and dealers are enticed in an "SGC direction" ... collectors will follow.
Of course, it's easy for Monday morning quaterbacks to make these kinds of decisions and bold predictions.

I have a list of more than one, but given a single choice, I'd go with:
1. Increase resources on a marketing/advertising campaigns. I think this will help increase market share and have a trickle down effect to me as a collector, to obtain more SGC cards to meet my collecting needs.
I can't resist, here are the other changes I'd like to see made:
1. Sub-grading on labels 2. Re-design of label to include better quality insert, ink and change colors with prominent silver for all grades. 3. Special grading incentives for set registry members 4. UV protection on holders, if not already 5. Enhancements to the How I Collect Set Registry and Registry overall 6. Ability to participate in structured survey on SGC (can be part of marketing campaign plans).

My change would be to the holder and label.
I'd like a standard-size holder. The GAI and PSA holders are the same height and width and fit nicely into boxes, and ultra pro graded card sheets as well, but the SGC holder is too large. As someone who collects mixed graded sets, having all holders the same size would be nice.

I would add a certification number verification feature -- IMHO, this is sorely needed.
