On psa community message boards check out post by ctsoxfan--buy card not holder. There is a 72 Topps psa 9 Clemente in Action with almost no left border.

Everyone makes mistakes but it certainly lends credence to recent stories about the "one-and-out" policy at psa prevalent these days.

Old, dense-headed hammers are cool. Best nail pounders.

I think that the most likely explanation for that one is a mechanical error -- I have never seen a card that ugly in a PSA-9 holder...or even a GEM-9 holder! It does says alot about their quality control processes (or lack there of).

Looks like it might have been intended as a PSA 9 OC, but they forgot to put the OC on the label. Another reason why I hate qualifiers.

Nice gesture for Phil. Best of luck to the cause and the completion of your set.

SGC might want to run an ad with this card image being the cornerstone of the ad. You would think that PSA would try to buy the card and take it off the market.

Good thing that KLL is not head of Marketing at SGC.

Far more significant examples in PSA holders that would illustrate the disaster that has taken place at PSA.

By the way KLL, this is an SGC board should you be posting on matters that are anti-PSA? I guess it was ok since you used "SGC" in your post.
