After receiving my BVG 7.5 1967 Topps Don Sutton back from SGC where they say its been trimmed, I decided to email BVG and ask about it. As I stumbled through thier website, I discovered the serial number lookup feature. Wasn't I impressed the find out that my 1967 Sutton is serial numbered to a 1982 Cal Ripken Jr. rookie card!
I emailed Beckett and they told me that I was viewing the wrong area. Apparently, I was looking at BGS and not BVG numbers......when I found the right section, the serial number did come back to the correct card. Somehow, Beckett missed the main part of my email where I complained that the card was trimmed and still graded by their company.......imagine that!

I suppose that you were not aware that when complaining to Beckett about an altered card in their holder (which is highly unlikely, by the way--cough cough), English is the language to use. They only understand sanskrit.
