hey all, just want peoples opinions on if being charged 5.00 for two graded cards in the same package is steep? i personally think its a bit to much i dont like it when sellers make money on shipping. what does everyone else think? thanks and good luck with your grades.

When i buy and sell on eBay, i consider the total cost of the purchase. If it is a good price, I go for it. If i see a $5 card, I don't care if I pay $1 for item and $4 for shipping, or the other way around.
Also, it's important for buyers to contact sellers before bidding if they have issues with shipping cost. If the shipping cost is clearly spelled out and there is no mention of reduced combined shipping, it's not fair to try and get the seller to reduce shipping after the fact. A bid is binding contract annd the hammer codifies that contract.

remo,
Can you provide more details about the auction? (A link, perhaps?). Also, what was the total price for both cards? Did you purchase insurance or any type of delivery confirmation or certified service?

Old, dense-headed hammers are cool. Best nail pounders.

Remo,
I'd put it in the live and learn bucket. OK, so he got you for $5...and my guess is that you'll never spend another dime on his auctions...so who's the real dummy?
That same thing has happened to me in the past and it really torqued me off.

I do what Vayank does. Figure shipping into my bidding and I don't bid if the shipping is excessive. I've come to realize that I don't have to bid on any item if the seller is not honest and professional. There are plenty of good sellers I can give my money too.
