Here's the image. Over the past 10 years we've owned quite a few high-end 8/88s (both in PSA and SGC holders), but this is our very first 96. We acquired it quite some time ago and just decided recently to submit it. Only 104 to go!

And no, if you see this card show up in an eBay auction run by a zero-feedback seller, that doesn't mean it's actually for sale.

Good lord MW - there's drool all over my keyboard.

I am so proud just to own that card in SGC 40. What do you suppose that is worth? $10k? Mine was considerably cheaper at least..

Anyway, what a start to that set - can't wait to see the Richard, Sawchuk and on and on...

Thank you for all the compliments! I'm going to work on an entire set that is SGC 92 and SGC 96. It should be quite a challenge.

How could I miss this thread! Hmmm..Gordie Howe's face looks so blurred and smudged out, do all his 1951 Parkhurst cards look like that? I would rather buy his 1952 Parkhurst 2nd year card, the art is much better and has the bio and stats on the back.
