Here is one for ya. Would you rather have a late 70s common graded 96 or a late 50s common graded 80? For me personally i would rather have the 80.

If both cards were of equal value, I'd probably take the 1950s card, but that's just because of personal preference. I'm sure there are many here who would rather have the late 1970s card. As far as long term value is concerned, it think it would be difficult to predict without knowing specific players/years.

Well since I do have the 50's one graded Sgc 80 that would be my choice
too. But that's because I'm a set collector. There are a couple 70's Phillie's
commons that I wouldn't mind in Sgc 96. And I just bought some 81's graded
mint 9 that I'm looking forward to receiving. The bring back some good
memories.

I'd have to go with the late 50s SGC 80, because I already have all the late 70s cards and I don't own much of anything from the 50s. I would like to have a Wayne Terwilliger or Don Zimmer or Harvey Kuehn card from the late 50s or a Washington Senators card like Pedro Ramos or Bob Allison.

I especially like the artwork/painting that are horizontal with a head and action shot on the front.
