For Immediate Release:

Parsippany, NJ. Sportscard Guaranty LLC (SGC) annouced it is not currently involved with any plans to sell, purchase or merge its operations with any competing grading company. We believe that it is in our customers' best interest that SGC remain independent under its current ownership. Since its inception in 1998, SGC has made great strides as a leading provider in sportscard grading and authentication. While continuing to serve the sportscard industry with the most accurate and consistent grading, SGC looks forward to introducing new, innovative and value added services to support the sports collectibles industry. Lastly, on behalf of SGC's ownership, management and staff we would like to thank our customers for their continued support and patronage and we look forward to serving the grading needs of dealers and collectors for years to come.

This is good news for the hobby at-large. As I mentioned before, the more choices we have, the better off we are. Likewise, more competition in the industry pushes companies to higher levels of service.

The PSA Board should be ashamed of themselves. For a company that supposed to be untouchable, they spend alot time being afraid, and trying to change the topic.

This shameless behavior demonstrates that neither PSA or GA has much confidence in their future.

I just left you a similar response and didn't even see yours. Great minds
think alike!!!

Both my fists are in the air. It's funny how if 'something' happened there
would probably be three or more threads started about Sgc on the Psa
board. I really don't understand the bitterness of some. The inability to
accept Sgc as a viable option is sad.

Sgc is a solid company built on a foundation of accurate and consistent
grading. With a solid leadership and ownership, and a strong focus they will
continue to make gains in the collectibles market.
