First off - I like SGC. I hope SGC continues to realize higher prices and gain more and more submissions. It only helps the hobby, and who in their right mind can argue that???

Dan Markel - Dude - is a first rate person and a class individual, as well as a true asset to the hobby. I can not say the same thing about Michael Wentz - based on my experiences with him.

EDITED FOR ACCURACY

MW - stick to cards and the hobby - it will only help your reputation - as well as your livelihood.

Thanks for listening. I hope I don't get banned now.

PS - Michael Wentz DID get arrested at the 2002 National - I can provide a case number and police station phone number if necessary for anyone who wants to verify on their own. Nice customer service.

Eric,

There is no need to make personal attacks. I do not recall treating you in such a way. I guess I am out of the fantasy football league.

I do not know where it is written you have agree with everything someone says or how they say it to find a way to get along or to emphasize areas of agreement -- instead of obssessing on differences in personal styles.

I will not be pulled into your quicksand of hate. If people don't like Mike Wentz, get over it and move on. And it is as if some PSA collectors seem to grasp the problems at PSA, but can not publicly admit them. They bottle up their concern about their significant investment in the slab going up in smoke. That's alot of human emotion to keep bottled up. People's rice bowl is at stake.

Then there he is: Mike Wentz dancing on the casket. Anger and concern of a personal nature finds an outward focus in Mike Wentz. Then people lose sight of their real character and meltdown. They can not understand how others don't have the same reaction as them. Hate becomes masked as moral outrage. In doing so they grant Mike Wentz more power over their choices they ever dreamed imaginable.

Attacking Mike Wentz et al will not fix PSA.

Matthew,

My wording towards you sounded much harsher than I intended, and for that I apologize. While we disagree on certain things (trivial things for that matter), I had no right to attack you like that, so again, I hope you will accept my sincere apology.

The only reason I made that post is that I see a real injustice going on and I wanted to speak up for Dan Markel. The previous thread was cut-off. Dan deserves better - and in this hobby, your name is all you really have (along with your actual merchandise).

You are of course welcome for 2003 fantasy football, how else will I avenge last years divisional collapse?

Eric

It is truly sad that these people have nothing better to do with their time than write false statements about an SGC dealer. It's sick.

On how one gets arrested at a trade card show. Now the dealer or PSA should have been arrested at the last National that was in Atlanta, when I saw a set of basketball 86/87 Fleer in PSA Gem Mint 10 with white specks/touches on/around the edges of most every single card. My first close attention to a graded card, which left me with a sour taste. Then came Beckett & SGC to lend some credibility and reliability. This is just my story/experience.

Back to the supposed arrest. What happened?
