Help! I listed a 1988 Peoria Chiefs Minor League set on eBay, which sold yesterday (one bid). When prepping the item for shipment I noticed one of the cards was damaged b/w the isting and now (wife was selling books and crunched it). I disclosed the damage to the winning bidder and he/she stated that given the choice... they would just assume forget the whole transaction. HOW DO I MAKE THAT HAPPEN?? I have searched for over an hour on eBay and cannot figure out how to do this... Thank you

PS I tried cancelling the bid, but b/c the auction has ended it wasn't allowed.

If he is willing to forget the transaction, then I would not worry about it. He is not going to pay you for it, and you are not going to ship it. You will only be out your listing fee and final value fee. If he was If he wasn't willing to forget the matter, you can go to the dispute console tour and click on transaction problems, and ebay has a web page involving a third party resolving disputes via square trade.

Thank you! So given that the buyer would just assume scrap it... the best thing is to just do nothing then? Thanks for the clarification...
