FYS- Yes, I do have quite a few sets on the PSA Registry. I also have an extensive collection of player runs (1 of every major card of a player from Rc to final card) that I haven't registered because I don't want to cross over my SGC cards.
Ironically, when SGC's registry first came out I decided to request and build a few SGC graded sets. Those sets are 2000 Bowman Reserve Football and 2001, 2002 Topps Reserve Football. Most of the pop's listed for those cards are from my submissions. I tried loading those cards on at least 6 occasions and couldn't get them on the registry.

I got frustrated and contacted Sean (who was very helpful as always), but still couldn't get the cards to come up. I finally took the box, filed it into storage and will get to it when I have time.
I realize that at the time I tried to insert the cards into those sets was the early days of SGC's registry and the kinks have probably been worked out of the system. I'll try again in the future when I have time, but I wonder how many others ran into the same problem and don't participate in the SGC registry because of it

I just couldnt help but to read this. I agree with some points and kinda feel " lost " with some of the others. Im in a big debate at this time. I am a member of CU and Grade alot of cards by PSA, but cant help but notice the SGC cards I have look a heck of alot better. I just dont quite understand why I can sell a PSA 9 easier than I can a SGC 96 or 98. Im looking forward to the market trends as I feel as some of you others than the shift soon may be SGC........Thanks for listening.....rob

What kind of cards do you have? lately I see very little difference in the prices realized for SGC 96s and PSA 9s. Both are head and shoulders above GAI.

If you are grading cards 1976 to present, I would not argue that PSA is probably more liquid. Otherwise I would disagree. My personal feel is that SGC will win over people in the long run and be the slabber of choice. At least for cards up to 1989 or so. I think Beckett will remain dominant with new releases.
