September, 2008
Dear SGC Customer:
Over the past year, we have experienced the strongest growth in the history of our company. During that time, we have made considerable investments in improving the quality of your experience with SGC. We have added talented people to our grading and customer service staff so that you can continue to receive the benefits of the industry’s most capable grading team and customer support. We have continued to improve the quality of our publication SGC Collector, to continue providing you with an outstanding informational resource. We’ve revamped our website so that information is available in a user-friendly, intuitive way. And, perhaps most importantly, we have completely redesigned our Card Registry in an effort to set the standard for sharing and displaying your SGC collection online.
The improvements aren’t over. In the future you can look forward to even more enhancements to our Registry as we add new ways for you to collect. We’ll continue looking for ways to improve your experience and maintain our status as a trustworthy company that truly appreciates and understands every single customer.
Effective October 15, 2008, we will be making some changes to our pricing structure. In an effort to continue to make it as easy as possible to build your sets with SGC, the most noteworthy price changes will occur at the top service tiers. You can view the new prices by clicking here.
In an effort to help defray escalating shipping costs, we will also be making changes to our return shipping fees.
As I’m sure you are aware, the costs to do business continue to increase over time. At SGC, we do our best to hold our prices for as long as possible, and to make price adjustments as palatable as we can. Despite the pricing adjustments, we’re confident that SGC remains the best grading company – and the best value – in the hobby.
These pricing adjustments take effect October 15, 2008. If you have any questions about the new pricing and how they might impact you, please contact us at (800) SGC-9212, ext 105.
Sincerely,
Sean Skeffington
VP of Operations
